Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about where your business ranks — and why it matters.

Ranking and Position

What is RankX?

RankX shows where your business ranks in its market — within your industry, in your area. Customers compare businesses every day and choose one. RankX makes this competition visible: who gets chosen most often, and who falls behind. Over 10,000 businesses have already been ranked.

How are rankings determined?

Rankings don't come from a single thing. They reflect how often your business becomes the customer's choice compared to others in your area. RankX measures this based on publicly available data. Rankings cannot be bought — only improved through action.

What does the A–E grade mean?

A = top 20% in your area B = next 20% C = middle 20% D = next 20% E = bottom 20% The grade tells you at a glance where you stand relative to competitors.

How often is data updated?

Claimed businesses are updated daily. Top businesses in the region update weekly. Others monthly.

Can rankings be bought?

No. A paid subscription does not affect scores. The only way to rise is to improve your service and keep information up to date.

Where does the data come from?

RankX is based on publicly available information — the same information customers already see before making their decision. It's not based on opinions or estimates, but on how businesses appear and get chosen in the market.
